This is a pair of comprehensive lesson plans for an Art and Design Technology lesson based on the topic of Space for Year 5/6 in which pupils start making their space helmet.
These lesson plans help put the plan which they made in their previous lesson into action. They use papier mache and the tips given in the lesson plan to create their own space helmet – prepare to get messy!
