This illustrated seaside poetry-writing frame is for independent children aged 6-8 (Ys 2-3) approx. It is the hardest of a set of three here. Children enjoy writing on the wavy lines (like ocean waves) and completing the many, varied starter lines. Describing words for sea and sand are called for, as well as several similes and other details. There is also space for independent, free-style writing. There’s lot’s to colour and add to, as with the easier versions.
