“I can see a … tiger… ” Jungle poetry writing frames, easier/harder (2 sheets total), richly and imaginatively illustrated in black/white, offering colouring opportunities. Descriptions for tiger, monkey and snake called for, to complete gaps, with simile – “The jungle is as green as…” plus two more similes on harder version. Tried and tested with rewarding results. The resource stretches all-round literacy skills and encourages rich, expressive writing. Also enhances understanding of jungle/rainforest environments and wildlife.
