A lesson based around Black American History about the work life of a house and field slave working on the plantation farm for pupils in KS3 and grades 6-8.
The lesson includes a lesson plan, a lesson PPP, extracts from the book ‘ The story of Harriet Tubman Freedom Train by Dorothy Sterling, storyboard activities and a list of websites to carry out the research.
