Pobble 365 is a website which posts an interesting, high definition picture every day of the year.
What’s more is that they also provide five activities per picture which can be easily transferred to a notebook or PowerPoint slide for the children to complete at the start of every lesson, as work for intervention groups.
These activities range from questions, vocabulary builders, sentence improving opportunities, story starters (where pupils are asked to continue a story) and grammar based activities. You can also search through previous pictures which means you can match your starter to your Literacy focus!
