Differentiated | SEND-Friendly | Linked to Stone Age Boy
This engaging 6-lesson literacy unit is designed for Year 3 (UK Primary) and supports children in developing confidence with narrative writing, using the Stone Age as a rich and motivating context.
Inspired by Stone Age Boy by Satoshi Kitamura, the lessons guide pupils step-by-step from sentence-level work through to planning, writing and punctuating their own Stone Age narrative.
All lessons have been designed with differentiation and inclusion in mind, making them suitable for mixed-ability classes and SEND learners.
