This lesson for Years 5/6 gives pupils an opportunity to discuss what they know about space exploration in the past, gives them information about the Russia USA space race and gets them to speculate about space travel in the future.
Pupils watch a short video of John F Kennedy’s ‘We choose to go to the moon’ speech, identify the persuasive language used in the speech and are given the chance to write and record their own speech as the President of the USA.
