This Science lesson gives children an understanding of how nutrients and water are transported around the body; as well as how the major organs function within the body.
By the end of the lesson children should achieve the following learning outcomes:
Give an explanation of how water is transported in our body
Give an explanation on what nutrients are.
Understand the importance of water in the body and explain why the body needs water.
There are opportunities for interactive learning, exploring where and what the major organs are in the body using a manikin.
