This eight-part lesson series focuses on the Greek poet Sappho of Lesbos. The course focuses on Sappho’s Love Poetry and Sappho as a source on Love and Relationships for the OCR Classical Civilisation A-Level Unit, pitched to students 16+. Each lesson has clear lesson objectives, tasks, challenges and a plenary, which focuses on applying the content of the lesson to exam-style questions. The course also includes snippets of scholarship necessary to access the highest level marks in the A-Level and develop university skills.
