Halloween/zombie themed lesson suitable for both Key stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Students have to plot a route through a city to escape a zombie apocalypse! The lesson is really fun, engaging and teaches/practices multiple geographical skills.
Includes a Powerpoint (with walkthrough and all answers) and maps ready to print. (A4 black and white works fine).
Tasks include:
**A fun starter!
**Task 1: ** Using graph skills to predict zombie population growth
Task 2: Using a map to predict zombie population densities
Task 3: Plotting a route through the city using compass, scale and map key!
Extensions: Challenging graph work tasks.
Peer assessment of map work by drawing a partner´s route!
