Refining the written skills of our students is a continued challenge, but reinforced assertively and creatively does provide tangible rewards in the exam hall. Extending the use of vocabulary showcases the student’s ideas with greater fluidity. Applying the use of the writing triad illuminates further meaning to a written text. I have taught these written English language skills many times in the last 20 years.
