This informative lesson, in the form of a Microsoft Powerpoint presentation, covers the key coastal processes of erosion, transportation, deposition and longshore drift. Then, using examples from the Dorset Coastline, the formation of coastal landforms is explained such as for headlands, bays, caves, arches, stacks and cliffs. After having gone through the powerpoint, a task for students is included on a separate document consisting of 12 questions based on the information taught from the slides, therefore making it a brilliant resource to use as a Geography lesson to students or as a possible revision tool.
