A set of five hand drawn garden bird colouring pages. These five simple yet realistic designs are based upon common visitors to the garden. I have designed these with young children in mind. I wanted to keep the distinct features of each bird so that they may be used for educational purposes, whilst making them basic enough for developing fine motor skills.
They would be ideal to go alongside home education or in school learning topics such as British wildlife or the local area. Lay them out in the mark-making area, or on the nature table. Staple together to make a guide book for little birdwatchers, place by the bird feeder at forest school … the opportunities are expansive.
