William Shakespeare’s ‘Measure for Measure’ remains a significant text in a post-modern world, where the prosecutions of Harvey Weinstein and Jeffrey Epstein have shed fresh light onto gender inequality and sexual abuse. I have taught this text many times and have used these specific resources to lead my teaching in the classroom, as a distance learning/homework assignments and even as tools of revision – all have worked well for the students.
These beautifully engaging PowerPoint lessons all include a starter activity, summary and analysis questions, an academic writing task, an extension task, theme tracking questions, a homework assignment and a plenary. These are complete resources (approximately 2-3 hours teaching time per lesson) that require no additional labour from the overworked teacher. Enjoy.
