A CHRISTMAS CAROL Key QUOTES Poster GCSE Revision – JACOB MARLEY – English LITERATURE

This is from a series of posters I made for revision of the characters in A Christmas Carol. They each display quotes and comments that would be useful to revise for the GCSE English Literature exam. This poster is of Jacob Marley.

Your purchase includes the complete poster in two formats: PDF and jpeg. It also includes three other versions of the poster: traits-only; picture-only; quotes-only. The character traits are in red and serve as the ‘point’ in a PEE/PEAS/PETER response, while the quotes in black serve as the ‘evidence’.

Suggested uses:

• Using the complete poster, ask students to link each comment to given themes of the novel, and/or expand on the comments to explain the significance of each trait;
• Display the traits-only poster and have students find evidence for each one;
• Display the quotes-only poster and have students identify the trait being evidenced;
• Print out in A5, along with other characters, to produce individual revision booklets;
• Print out in A4 or A3 for display boards; 
• Print out the picture-only version and use it as a group exercise to fill in independently.
