Pen Detectives Level Nine includes 4 differentiated adjective sentence correction worksheets designed to help children identify adjectives, improve sentences and understand how changing adjectives can change their meaning. Each worksheet continues a detective story about an imposter secretly sabotaging the school’s athletics club, with children using their adjective skills to uncover clues and help identify the culprit. Activities gradually increase in difficulty, making this resource ideal for developing adjective recognition, vocabulary, sentence formation, proofreading and editing skills.
Designed for children aged 7–11 and 11–14, these worksheets provide structured practice in identifying adjectives, adding their own descriptive words and changing adjectives to alter the meaning of sentences. The four worksheets build on one another, encouraging children to follow the clues, examine the evidence and become part of the investigation.
