- Use real objects (buttons, blocks, snacks) to make it fun.
- Say the number stories out loud:
- “I had 3… I got 2 more… now I have 5.”
- “I had 5… I gave away 1… now I have 4.”
- Draw circles, dots, or pictures to show the numbers.
