This bundle of three lessons for Criminology AC3.2 guides students through drawing conclusions on Safe VerdictsJust Verdicts, Just Sentencing & Miscarriages of Justice from different case studies and statistics including the assignment brief and controlled assessment preparation. The package includes a detailed PowerPoint presentations, student workbooks with engaging activities, literacy and assessment handout, practise assignment brief and structured lesson plans aligned with WJEC Level 3 Criminology standards

Once the lessons are completed the workbooks and literacy and assessment handout can be used in the Unit 3 Controlled Assessment.

Student workbooks – includes activities, questions and knowledge that will help students to draw conclusions from information sources.
PowerPoints- with information, video links, activity instructions for the students and key exam skills information.
Lesson Plans and Teacher Notes – detailed notes include the lesson plan / rationale. Instructions on how to facilitate activities and also answers / suggested answers to some of the activities. References are made to the relevant slide numbers, pages numbers and documents that are needed in each activity.
Literacy and Assessment Handout – provides students with the assessment criteria, key terms glossary, guidance on structuring notes and sentence starters.

The notes made in this booklet are compliant with WJEC’s guidance on controlled assessments therefore, students could take it into the assessment with them.
